What this site is for

Buying physical gold and silver is unusually hard to comparison-shop. The advertised price is rarely what you pay: premiums over spot, shipping, and payment-method surcharges can move the real cost by several percent, and dealers present those differently. SilverGoldPrice exists to make the true landed cost visible, and to explain the parts of the market that are genuinely confusing.

Who we are

SilverGoldPrice.com is published by SilverGoldPrice LLC. Editorial decisions are made by [[AUTHOR / EDITORIAL IDENTITY]]. We are not a dealer, a broker, or a financial adviser, and we do not sell bullion.

Where our data comes from

• Spot prices are retrieved live from a market data provider and labelled with the time we retrieved them. Where the provider does not publish a quote timestamp, we say so rather than implying the number is more current than we can prove.
• Dealer prices are timestamped observations from retailer pages or authorized third-party data, not live quotes. Each comparison shows its observation time.
• Shipping details come from retailer-published policies. Known charges are included in landed totals; destination-, weight-, or transaction-dependent costs remain uncalculated rather than being estimated.
• Historical charts are currently demonstration data and marked "Demo history".

We would rather show "unavailable" than a number we cannot stand behind. If a price is missing on this site, it is because we do not have a real one to give you.

How we evaluate dealers

When we rank or compare dealers, we weigh:

• Landed cost — product price plus shipping plus payment-method surcharge, at a stated quantity
• Premium over spot, compared like-for-like on the same product
• Published shipping, returns and buyback policies
• How clearly the dealer discloses its own pricing

A row with unknown shipping is never allowed to win a "best price" comparison, because an unknown cost is not the same as a zero cost.

Corrections

If something here is wrong, tell us at contact@silvergoldprice.com and we will correct it and note the correction. Accuracy is the entire value of a site like this.

How we make money

Through dealer affiliate commissions, disclosed in full on our Affiliate Disclosure page. Commission rates do not influence rankings.
