4 stars for quality of product but as others stated premium are high. I have been a customer with them for 10 years and just made a 250 oz purchase before finding this site unfortunately. They do have an auto invest that I liked but have put it on pause letting them know that I am shopping for best price with no more blind loyalty.
This is my #1 dealer due tot he fact that they have had some of the most diverse products in any online or local inventory. Yes; their premiums are the highest in the industry and there is a reason for this. I usually can order from APMEX without the product being "Out of Stock" (or readily in stock in a short period of time) or their shipping is the best in the industry. Take your pick. The premiums I pay for in 2022 are for quick, free shipping and a diverse catalog. Thanks.
I used to buy only from Apmex because of quick shipping and a very diverse selection of products. However, their prices are totally insane. It doesn't matter what I am shopping for, Apmex is always 10-15% higher than the cheapest product I can find. Their price over spot cannot even compete with some of the other dealers out there.
Purchased silver from them, it was junk silver, and NOT coinage, but just crappy scraped and gouged silver round and 10 gram, TEN gram bars. After i personally tested everything they sent me STERLING! They won't let me leave this review on their site! They exchanged it. However most just believe what they buy is picked by knowledgeable people, after OTHER knowledgeable people go thru the items, and then bin them. NO QC!! No checker of the checker. Jokelahoma! I will never use them again.
APMEX has the highest standards in the industry - when I order, I know my product will be of the highest quality and shipped discreetly and in a timely manner. I will order again and again from APMEX. Confidence is paramount when buying gold and silver.
Four orders completed. Another in process. No problems so far. Lots and lots of inventory items that smaller dealers will probably not have (Like pre 1933 gold dollars) Not always the cheapest but often they are. Definitely worth checking their prices every time you shop.
I've bought from APMEX five times, and haven't had any problems. They may not be the cheapest; however, when I can't find what I'm looking for somewhere else I usually end up at APMEX.

The design of the Mexican Libertad coin is one of the most remarkable and beautiful government issued bullion coins available today. It is iconic and has remained virtually unchanged since it's debut in 1982.In 1998, the Mexican Mint introduced the Libertad 5 oz Silver coin denomination along with several other additional size variations that share the same obverse and reverse design. The five ounce Libertad is much larger in diameter and thickness than the more familar 1 oz coins. The premiums for libertads are much higher than other government issued bullion coins, which sets the Mexican Libertad coin series apart from other sovereign government coins. The design of the 2022 Libertad coin carries the same obverse and reverse design as previous year coins. The obverse design proudly shows the Mexican Coat of Arms in the center, with the historical Coats of Arms circling and surrounding the central design.Based on the original Mexican Onza Silver Coin design. The reverse design features a rendition of several popular national symbols of Mexico. The central design theme of the reverse is based around the celebration of Mexico's War of Independence and Freedom from the tyranny of Spanish Colonial Rule.2022 Mexican Libertad 5 oz Silver Coin Highlights:The 5 oz Silver variation of the Mexican Libertad coin is minted in limited numbers annually.
