The rule, as Idaho writes it

Idaho exempts precious metal bullion and monetized bullion with no dollar threshold. Bullion means an elementary precious metal — gold, silver, platinum, rhodium or chromium — smelted or refined so its value depends on content rather than form. Monetized bullion is coins or money used as a medium of exchange, but excludes coins sold to be made into jewellery or works of art.
